Darn Juan (Troy McCoy action series Book 2): Suspenseful, Adventure Thriller
5:13PM, Friday night, Juan Morales€ Ecuadorian mountaintop fortress is about to be obliterated along with everyone inside€¦including 4 captive U.S. special agents.
Troy McCoy is obsessed with avenging the shooting of his beloved Ally Clipper.
He left his private investigation agency to join the government€s Bureau of Anti-Terrorism€s highly clandestine operation known simply as The Company.
Juan Morales, leader of an Ecuadorian based drug cartel, captured and imprisoned 4 U.S. agents who The Company had covertly assigned to neutralize him either through apprehension or
assassination. In retaliation for the plot to kill him, Morales attempted to murder Troy€s family working with both his U.S. network of underworld killers and international fugitive, James Langstrom. Langstrom was an ex-FBI agent who sold out and was now a highly paid assassin for the most unsavory leaders of the world, including Morales.
Moles Get Stung Troy learned that Langstrom was being fed highly classified government intel which he then would leak to Morales. A sting was devised to entrap moles within the bureau and, hopefully, Langstrom himself.
Meanwhile,
Morales with the assistance of Langstrom, his trigger man for high value kills, ignited a decades old feud with the Barons, a Columbian cartel. For Morales€ actions, Troy learned the rival drug syndicate sought swift retribution for his heinous aggressive act against them.
They sought to completely eradicate Morales and his operation.
Troy only had minutes left to rescue the imprisoned agents locked deep below Morales€ mountaintop fortress before it €“ and everyone inside €“ was destroyerd. The main characters from Altered Identity, the first Troy McCoy novel, play vital roles in Darn Juan. Logan Conway is a new over-the-top character introduced in this book. He brings with him a whole new dimension of
erratic. The dialog is rapid, funny, sexy, pithy and, of course, sarcastic.
And, just when you think the subplots couldn€t get any more bizarre€¦
