Jean Bardon's lush prints combine the formality of botanical prints, along with a love of decorative detail. Her attention to line and simplicity follow traditions of Asian art, though with touches of Renaissance painting to add a western sensibility. The full effect of that Renaissance sensibility is found in her prints with gold leaf added after the printing process. Note: as with most prints, dimensions are for the image size.
