This is a kit comprising of two polymer parts that clip together. It is recommended for the safety of your camcorder that these two parts are perminantly attached (glued) once recieved if you intend to do any "vigerous" riding. Vibration or rough treatment could in some cases cause the parts to come apart - which could in turn cause damage to your camcorder. The camcorder can still be quickly removed via the screw thread.
