DJI Inspire 1 Remote Controller

The remote requires 2 step for updating 1 . The remote requires 2 step for updating. First step is to check the update firmware on the remote if it is an earlier than version 3.2 than you need to download the firmware 3.0 from DJI website and up load the firmware directly to the remote with an USB drive. 2. You cannot go to the latest firmware directly otherwise the remote will brick. If the version software is newer than 3.0 firmware then the update is performed on the DJI Go App.
