DEATHBED CONFESSION

Delbert Reno is an old man dying of cancer. Before giving in to the ravages of his illness he calls his estranged grandson, William, to his bedside and confesses to the brutal murders of several people as a young man.
As a consequence of these crimes, William learns, Delbert's life took a huge turn for the better. Great wealth, marriage to a beautiful woman, and wonderful children ensued.
Ultimately, however, there was a monumental price to pay for the actions of his youth.
