Currie Enterprises Front End Housing Johnny Joint Kit For1987-01 Jeep Cherokee, 1997-06 Jeep Wrangler - For 1987-2001 JeepXJ's, 1997-2006 Jeep TJ's and LJ's, and Jeep MJ's. This new kitfrom Currie allows our 2 in. Johnny Joints to be installed on stockor most aftermarket housings in place of the standard control armbushings that mount into the housing of these vehicles. The kitincludes a Johnny Joint insert for gear case ear and installationtool, as well as 1 in. thick flame-cut steel upright for the tubeside, with Johnny Joint already installed. This kit has you cut offthe top of the stock bracket that is on the tube and install thenew Currie piece into the existing bracket base. You then weld theCurrie piece to the existing bracket base. This allows for nowelding to be done on the tube, resulting in no warpage of thetube. - This kit requires cutting and welding equipment forinstallation!!!
