This THX Ultra2 Certified subwoofer delivers sound with a boom! TX-12SUB features a flat anechoic response from 20Hz to 200Hz and accurate in-room response from 15Hz to 350Hz for the very clearest low end frequencies. A high quality, built-in 200 watt amplifier, delivers a powerful and dynamic sound that adds weight to films and music. Its twelve inch long throw driver incorporates a light but rigid specially treated paper cone for fast response with no audible distortion. Backed by serious magnets, it achieves a deep, dynamic and transient bass, with astonishing sonic accuracy. The enclosure is heavily braced on all critical joints to offer as acoustically "dead" an enclosure as possible. The extensive strengthening of the enclosure maximizes the dynamic capability of the mechanical design. By using four TX-12SUBs you will not only achieve the reference output required by the THX Ultra2 certification, you will also enjoy optimized LFE output for many listening positions in your Home Theater setup, coupled with optimal standing wave control. THX Ultra2 Certified products bring the cinematic experience to larger home theaters, 3,000 cubic feet in size, with a viewing distance of 12 feet or greater from the screen.
