They are a family-owned business in Charlotte, North Carolina and have been raising crickets for over 60 years; beginning in 1952. This cricket food is a secret family recipe, but we do know it consists of over 19% protein plus vitamins and minerals. It is milled to a fine grain; making it easier for the crickets to eat and digest. The 32 fluid ounce deli container is packed full of 1.5 pounds of cricket food.
