Cream Modern Hardtail Style Rockaudio Guitar Body

Nice subtle cream finish over basswood.Basswood is an excellent tone wood and this batch is the good stuff, nice clean white color and the perfect weight. Sometimes basswood guitars can be too heavy and sometimes too light and cheap feeling, these bodies are right in the middle. This basswood is also harder than most other examples we have seen and is less prone to denting, check out some of our unfinished basswood bodies to get a closer look.We routed this body for an HSH configuration so that you can install two humbucker pickups with a single coil pickup in the middle. The bridge area is not routed so that you can use a hardtail or custom bridge setup.. This body does not have any pre-drilled holes so that you can get correct scale length and positioning depending on the other parts that you are using. Neck pockets are just under 2 1/4" so that you have enough room to fit any standard Jackson or Ibanez style neck and get a tight fit. Also, the contour on the back of this body requires that you mount the neck with a bushing style setup.Body width is 1.7" and weighs approximately 4.5 lbs.
