Stollen is a yeast bread, like panettone, but denser and actually gets better with time! Ours comes from the pastry chefs from Konditorei Brüder Oebel, Köln (Cologne), one of the largest enterprises of this kind with 100 years of tradition.

This Stollen is made the classic way, folded, not baked in bread pans. Filled with cranberries almonds,candied lemon and citron peel, this buttery, heavy fruit bread is filled with marzipan (almond paste filling), then sprinkled with powdered sugar.
