This CowboyStudio professional Cage is an adjustable black aluminum frame for attaching a video DSLR or other small videocamera as well as a multitude of accessories like lights, microphone, DV monitor, battery and any kind of video equipment which can be added with cold shoe attachments or 1/4 universal tripod screws. The accessory frame has several standard 1/4" 20 and 3/8" 16 threads around its four sides plus about 18 accessible shoe mounts around the sides and top. This frame has adjustable sides to accommodate taller cameras. Turn the knobs near the bottom of the sides, and add up to an inch to the frame's height. The Filmmaker Kit includes a quick-release plate for standard tripods.
