The homogenizer has a capacity of 40mL with a 55mm diameter catch basin bulb, and is made of borosilicate glass for durability and resistance to thermal stress. The mortar and pestle have a 130mm long grinding zone and a total length of 340mm when combined. It is adaptable to a motor driven, slow speed stirrer with a rubber stopper and connecting rod (sold separately). This manual mortar and pestle homogenizer is made in accordance with Federal Specification DD-T-363a for quality assurance and is suitable for use in grinding small samples for pathological and biochemical applications.
