PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Based upon Cordobond Standard Resin and Activator, the Cordobond RK 10 Repair kit will adhere to most substrates forming a tough, scratch-resistant repair in a quick and efficient process. When paired with the included reinforcement material, the repair will have added strength and dimensional stability. APPLICATIONS: As the name would suggest the Cordobond RK 10 Pipe Repair Kit was originally designed for quick repairs of various types of pipe. Beyond this scope, the RK 10 Kit can be used much like the Cordobond Standard Resin and Activator in repair of storage tanks, vessels, exhaust lines, bulkheads, machinery, flanges, joints, and condenser water boxes. GENERAL PATCHING CONDITIONS: The adhesion of a Cordobond RK 10 Pipe repair depends upon the condition of the surface of the substrate with which it is in direct contact. Because of this, clean all surfaces thoroughly, removing all paint, grease, dirt, and surface contaminates that may impede the bond between the repair and the surface being worked on. A piece of sand paper is conveniently included in the kit to aid in this process. Upon catalyzation, use the included stirring sticks to make sure the activator is thoroughly mixed into the resin. A small paintbrush is included in the kit to help apply the activated resin to the repair area and the reinforcement fiberglass. KIT CONTENTS: Repair instruction booklet · lb.
