Matt runs into an old friend from high school who hires him to find her stolen antique wood box that still contains her eight thousand dollars in a hidden compartment. The box also contains a stash of cocaine, so the woman can't got to the police with her problem. Meanwhile, the new lieutenant at the twelfth precinct, Kevin Cole, has problems of his own. Two women were killed and there are no suspects. These women were twin sisters that everyone at the local bar knew as 'Heckle and Jeckle.' Matt's investigation into the stolen box will have him cross paths with the killer of the ugly twins.
