Late one night in 1946, three young harmonica players from Chicago went into a studio to record some songs they'd been playing in nightclubs. One was a new arrangement of "Peg o' My Heart." An all-night DJ aired it, and the rest is music history: "Peg" rocketed to #1 on the charts and stayed there for almost a year. Recorded in 1996, this album captures the Cats' enduring appeal.
