Collection of the Transmitted State Sinology Attached the Catalogue of State Confucian Classics Teacher and Argumentation Origin of the Idealist Philosophy of the Song Dynasty (Chinese Edition)

The Collection of the Transmitted State Sinology was written by JiangFan 1761 to 1831 in 8 volumes in the Qing Dynasty. It was listed as the academic history of the Qing Dynasty and elaborated on the transmission of sinology and the origin of the Confucian classics. It started with Yan Ruoqu and Hu Wei and finished up with Huang Zongxi and Gu Yanwu. It included 56 biographies and academic ideas of 56 sinologists, in which 16 biographies were attached further. It is controversial that the sinologists in this book were arranged according to the character quantity and it started with Yan Ruoqu, Hu Wei, Zhang Erqi, Ma Su with more words and Huang Zongxi and Gu Yanwu were mentioned in the eighth volume with less words. From this book, the position of the sinology was established gradually. The current version is attached the first volume of the Catalogue of State Confucian Classics Teacher and Argumentation, the second volume of the Origin of the Idealist Philosophy of the Song Dynasty and an excursus. The Catalogue of Confucian Classics Teacher and Argumentation recorded the origin and annotations of ZhouYi, the Book of Songs, the Spring and Autumn Annals, the Analects of Confucius, the ErYa, the Yue and so on. The Origin of the Idealist Philosophy of the Song Dynasty told the differences between the classics of the Southern Dynasties and the Northern Dynasties from Sun Qifeng to Deng Yuanchang with a total number of 40. The excursus included nine people started with Shen Guomo. It was described in the Preface of RuanYuan as follows: The book compiled by Jiang Fan covered 8 volumes of the Collection of the Transmitted State Sinology. The Confucian classics teacher and argumentation and the origin of the idealist philosophy of the Song Dynasty could be learned in this book when I lived in the courtyard in Guangzhou in the twenty-third year of the emperor JiaQing. Besides, the fluent sentences in this book were sublime but with deep meanings.
