Claddagh Ring Woven Band Ladies Sterling Silver Irish Made
Made in Ireland and stamped at Dublin Castle, this Sterling Silver Woven Band Claddagh features a traditional Claddagh with a woven band. It measures approximately 7/16", or 1.1 cm, from the base of the heart to the top of the crown. Legend says that the Claddagh symbol was created by a seafarer named Richard Joyce. It stands for love, loyalty and friendship and has long been used by folk of Joyce's village, Claddagh, nestled outside Galway City, as a wedding ring. To this day, Claddagh rings are used to represent many kinds of relationships, including friendship, engagement and marriage, and are worn differently accordingly. For example, placing the ring on the third finger of the left hand with the heart pointing outwards indicates engagement. Whatever the case may be, the Sterling Silver Woven Band Claddagh is the Irish perfect gift for her.
