Cigar Box Guitar Bridge with Embedded Rod Piezo Pickup - Peruvian Walnut hardwood

This is a special bridge/saddle made especially for 3 and 4-string cigar box guitars. It features a peruvian walnut body, a brass bar saddle and an embedded ukulele-size rod piezo. These are perfect for mounting on the top of your cigar box guitar and put out really great acoustic sound. The lead on the rod piezo is 12" long and terminates in a 2.5mm male plug, which can be cut off to expose the inner insulated wire (positive) and outer mesh ground wire of the lead. These bridges are about 2.75" long and roughly 3/8" in total height, including the saddle. PLEASE NOTE: Though the listing photo shows string grooves, there are no string grooves pre-filed in these, so they can be used on different styles of instruments with different numbers of strings - it is easy enough to create grooves with a small file! The bridge can either be left floating or could be glued/screwed down if so desired. These are proudly hand-made in the C. B. Gitty workshop, and will make a great addition to your special cigar box guitar or other homemade instrument build!
