Change of Heart (Heart Series Book 4)
Less than sixty seconds into his conversation with her on the phone, Satch Howard almost dreaded meeting his potential client Jared Grant’s, sister. The woman was downright mean, had a ton of trust issues, and didn’t hesitate to voice her concerns about him becoming the talented quarterback’s agent. While he found her rudeness to be unwarranted and somewhat undeserved, he had a plan. Since he and the other members of HWC were in LA for the big sporting convention, he would invite Jared to fly out of Philly and join him and then send for his sister. His thinking was that if she could see how the business worked, she would be a little more accessible and give him a chance to prove that he was worthy to represent Jared. Unfortunately, when he first laid eyes on her, Ishaan Grant wasn’t quite what he expected. She was an extremely beautiful woman, but she had an attitude the size of the Grand Canyon. Satch however, was not worried. Any man who could be exclusive with four women simultaneously could easily handle a single feisty one. Not only was he good looking and oozing charm out of every pore in his body, but his magnetic charisma had yet to fail on any woman. The way he saw it, Ishaan Grant would be no exception and he would have her eating out of his hand in no time. What he soon found out was that Ishaan Grant wasn’t like most women.
Concerned only about what was in her brother Jared’s best interest, Ishaan was not about to step aside and let some shyster take advantage of him. She didn’t care how much Jared liked this Satch guy; until he could prove himself worthy in her eyes, he was on her short list. That being said however, when she first saw Satch Howard, he was not quite what she had expected either. The man was dropped dead gorgeous, extremely confident, and was perhaps the sexiest man that she had ever encountered in her life. Although she thought that she could easily shrug her feelings off and get past that pretty face, that undeniable charm, and even that virility, she soon discovered that it wasn’t going to be quite as easy as she thought it would be.
