Classic 'pharmacy' vase with lid. This ceramics vase is completely handmade, inspired by the distinctive late-Medieval style of albarelli from Montelupo. Decorated with the classic 'Penna di Pavone' design and enhanced by a yellow band at the bottom with 'Acqua di Salvia' [in foreign language] written around it. The maiolica is traditionally Tuscan, antiqued and characterised by its white, blue, yellow and turquoise colours. Measurements: maximum height, 27.5 centimetres - maximum diameter, 14.5 centimetres Sbigoli Terrecotte is an old artisan workshop, founded in 1857 by the Sbigoli family, and has specialised in the production of ceramics tableware and decorative maiolica.
