The carbon fiber thickness has been selected for its flexibility and strength. The carbon fiber will withstand multiple crashes and still provide protection for the DJI Phantom 2 and DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus' delicate camera and gimbal. The design of the camera guard allows for a full range of camera motion without ever imposing on the field of view. The camera guard is never visible to the camera, even when pointing straight down.
