Cabin Fever - Roughin' It In the Rockies
As the terrified Eden Harcourt stood inside the desolate Rocky Mountain cabin watching that €œbeast€ outside, she tried desperately to remember all the reasons she€d had for taking this nightmare of a vacation. When another €œbeast€ in a black hat and coat, riding a black horse, entered the clearing in front of the cabin, Eden didn€t know if she should be even more frightened than she already was or be grateful that she may have just been rescued. Finally deciding to trust this stranger, and with rifle still in hand, she mustered up enough courage to go outside.
Devlin Stryker had tracked his about-to-give-birth cow up into the mountains outside of his ranch. The last thing he expected to find was a gun-toting, ethereal beauty. Was she real or a dream? All too soon he found out just how real she was!
Eden didn€t mean to shoot the dark stranger, she hadn€t even loaded the gun! But it happened and now, with a late spring storm approaching, she had to do something and fast to help him.
As the wind and snow pounded the tiny cabin for days on end and Dev€s strength returning with each passing day, there seemed to be a restlessness growing between them. Was it just a case of cabin fever? Or was something else stirring between those walls?
