Holding the cartridge by its ends, gently rock the cartridge left to right a few times to evenly distribute the toner powder inside the cartridge. The OPC drum is located on the back of the cartridge. Visually check the OPC drum for scratches or debris. Do not touch the OPC drum. If necessary, you can use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the OPC drum. For light prints on the ML-2010 and ML-1610 printers make sure the Toner Save Mode is not turned on. There is a light on the printer labeled Toner Save, if this light is lit that means the Toner Save Mode is enabled. To enable or disable, press the Cancel button on the printer while the printer is in the Ready/Standby mode (green LED light labeled ONLINE is lit)
