This high quality neodymium magnet is extremely versatile and very powerful with a holding force of about 75 lb pull force under ideal conditions. Both sides of the magnet are countersunk for a #12 screw, which makes this magnet excellent for making a magnetic latch or just attaching items to it. The countersunk is on both sides, giving you the option to use either the N or S pole to hold a steel plate.
