There are holes cut for the additional battery pack option if your model has that option. These boxes add security to theft and also eliminate animals from chewing on your camera. Once the box is secured to the tree the camera can be taken in or out without any repositioning or rerunning of test cycles. The camera will always point back to the same spot.
