*Clear caps are slightly more brittle due to the pigments used and therefore may be more prone to breakage during installation than regular snaps. Most users do not experience any problems. Breakage generally only occurs when too much pressure is applied with table-top snap presses, so press users may have to adjust their pressure.

**Clear sockets have a wider mouth (where the stud snaps in) compared to color sockets. As a result, clear sockets should not be combined with color studs.

***You may find that more pressure is required to sufficiently flatten the snap prong of clear caps compared to color caps.
