The Buchi V-700-series vacuum pump is a dual-head, two-stage diaphragm pump and is suitable for laboratory applications such as rotary evaporation, filtration, and gel drying. It has a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) air flow path and polyether ether ketone (PEEK) check valves for corrosion resistance. An optional Woulff bottle, cold trap, and condenser trap particles and corrosive vapors. The pump has a 1.8 cubic meters per hour flow rate and generates an ultimate vacuum level of less than 10mbar. The oil-free diaphragm pump allows operation without oil misting and contaminated oil disposal and accepts 100 to 240V, 50/60Hz input power.
