Broodmaiden for the Bridge Troll

Tara's father has always warned her about two things: Boys, and crossing the bridge after sunset. When Tara wastes an entire day in the village with a charming young tanner's apprentice, she arrives home after dark to find her father suffering from a deadly illness. Only the village medicine woman can save him, but she'll have to cross the bridge to get there.
