Brinsea Mini Advance Hatching Egg Incubator
Brinsea incubator is used to hatch eggs, and has fully automatic egg turning and autostop two days prior to hatching for maintaining embryo health. A microcontroller manages all incubator functions, including temperature, temperature alarms, days to hatch, and turning status, through a menu on the digital display. Settings can be adjusted to alter temperature, temperature units (Celsius or Fahrenheit), days to hatch, and high and low temperature alarm limits. The incubator has fan-assisted airflow to evenly heat eggs, and an egg chamber with clear sides to view hatching eggs. The incubator includes a rotating disk with capacity for seven hen or duck eggs or for eggs up to 65.0mm in length. (A rotating disk for 12 smaller eggs, such as pheasant or quail, is sold separately.) A central water reservoir provides humidity for the incubation process. The cabinet of the incubator is made of antimicrobial polyurethane plastic for durability and resistance to bacterial contamination. Polyurethane is nonconductive and has good abrasion, chemical, and UV radiation resistance. It is also resistant to oil, weather, ozone, heat, electricity, tearing, and various chemicals. The incubator operates on 12.0V from a main transformer (included), and consumes up to 18.0 watts of electricity. The incubator measures 165.0 x 222.0mm/6.5 x 8.0 inches (H x D), and weighs 0.95kg/2.1lb. (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; D is width, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
