Bosch 1297D 1/4-Sheet Orbital Finishing Sander with SheetLoc Paper Attachment System

Bosch revolutionized their technology with this palm sander by making it quick and easy to load sandpaper on the deck. By integrating their SheetLoc sandpaper attachment system it allows the user to open the front and rear rubberized paper clamps, insert the edge of the paper in the front, wrap, and clamp. What sets this apart from any other technology out there is that as the rear clamp closes, it pulls the sandpaper taut and flat against the sanding bed. This vital development prevents wrinkles, creases, and tears which increases the life of sandpaper without having to pay double the cost for stick on paper. This sander is compatible with standard sandpaper, stick on sandpaper, sanding sheets for paint, and sanding sheets for orbital sanders. The Bosch 1297D has a 2.0 AMP motor equipped to handle a variety of sanding applications. Performing up to 12,000 oscillations per minute, it ensures fast and smooth results on all surfaces. This palm sander also features flush sanding ability so that you can sand in those vertical surfaces on all three sides. For maximum comfort and control, Bosch has also integrated 3-point counterbalance to reduce vibration along with an ergonomic soft grip top.
