The LeviTECH Anti-Gravity Lamp A futuristic lamp integrating art and design with cutting edge technology featuring LeviTECHnologyTM to make the lamp shade float unsupported in mid-air! We use LeviTECHnologyTM to create an electro-magnetic field that allows the lampshade to float unsupported in mid-air. No strings attached! You can even pass your hand through the space between the lampshade and the base without any interruption or effect on the levitation field. Combining a minimalistic art design with an element of science into everyday used furniture creates, what we hope, a conversation piece. Our anti-gravity lamps are suited for office or home. Product Overview: The LeviTECH Levitating Lamp is not some trick or an illusion. The only thing between the shade and the base is air. What makes this lamp unique and futuristic is the built in integrated levitation technology. It consist of many electromagnetic components and a sophisticated computer controlled relay system that is only possible through laboratory breakthroughs. A powerful magnetic disc lifts the lampshade above the base using magnetic levitation and supports the lightweight lampshade. The base also houses four computer controlled electromagnetic coils making thousands of adjustments per second in order to maintain levitation stability even if bumped. A total of nine cool white LEDs are hidden into the base of the lamp. Six point upwards into the shade and three aim down toward the aluminum stand. Separate touch-sensitive buttons on the underside of the base control each set of LEDs. Designed for standard US outlets (120V). International outlet versions available upon request.
