BioChef Nylon Ladle, Black
The BioChef Nylon Ladle uses a blend of 70-Percent corn starch with 30-Percent bioplastic, offering a low carbon material that is natural and healthy. The handle is comfortable to hold, and won€t slip out of your hand, and the stainless-steel shaft adds strength for easy stirring and serving of foods. The nylon head is heat-resistant, safe for non-stick cookware, grease resistant and dishwasher safe. Bioplastics are a form of plastics derived from renewable biomass forms such as corn, sugar or even algae. Our bioplastic material is made from a special blend of renewable corn starch and plastic. The corn used in our bioplastic comes from surplus food supplies that are destined for the landfill. BioChef takes this item out of the refuse chain to produce bioplastic. BioChef values the well-being of you and Mother Earth, designing stylish kitchenware out of bioplastics made from a seventy percent natural corn starch blend. But there's more to the story-BioChef's entire production process uses much less fossil fuel than conventional plastic so oil consumption is lower and the environmental impact to our natural resources is reduced. We understand, like you do, that it's time to reduce our dependance on non-renewable resources. By using sustainable, renewable and biodegradable resources such as corn, sugar or algae, BioChef products have less impact on our fragile resources. All BioChef products are produced with bioplastics and are environmentally concious, non-toxic, BPA free and FDA approved.
