Bio Lion XC-10K Mini Desk-Top Centrifuge, 10,000 rpm Single Speed, 2 Fixed-Angle Rotors, Non-Refrigerated, 110-240VAC
The Bio Lion XC-10K mini desk-top centrifuge is a fixed-speed centrifuge with a speed of 10,000 rpm. This centrifuge comes with a circular six-place rotor for 1.5mL, 0.5mL, or 1.2mL tubes and a 16-place strip tube rotor to accommodate 0.2mL tubes (tubes sold separately). It has a palm-shaped lid for opening with either left or right hand. The centrifuge stops when the lid opens for increased safety. It accepts 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz input power. This centrifuge is designed for small samples.

A centrifuge is used to spin fluids of different densities to separate various parts, commonly blood and DNA samples. Centrifuges are composed of the main body or housing and a spinning rotor. Tubes of cellular material suspended in liquid are inserted into the rotor and spun at various speeds to separate components. Centrifuges are used in medical, industrial, and research laboratories, as well as academic and clinical settings.
