Bible Prophecy - God's Agenda And Your Part In It
Does Bible prophecy have any relevance to our present lives? Does it prove the validity of the Bible? These are questions I asked and allowed the Bible to answer over 20 years ago. The results did not line up with what I'd previously been taught. There is a popular scenario that is repeated and repeated as if it were fact and which is derived from a western-centric mind set. Why is it wrong?
I believe it is due to a trajectory of thought that goes back to the bias born at the time of the reformation, and then carried along by the human predisposition to not question traditional understanding (Incidentally, this has created an unjust divide between Catholic and Protestant believers). There is another scenario that comes from keeping Jerusalem as the central focus. The events of the last 20 years have increased my conviction that this other scenario is the more correct. Others are discovering this on their own, which increases my confidence.
Interest in what the Bible has to say is at an, alarming, all-time low; and yet more alarming, there's even less interest in what it has to say about prophecy (even from the pulpit). At no time in history have people needed to know what it says, more than they do today. If the Bible is telling the truth, then we are on the precipice of the most momentous upheaval in human history. In all of this, there is good news, which is essential to keeping us free from fear. After decades of silence, believing that no one would listen, I felt compelled to write this scripture-intensive study.
