Benchmark Scientific MultiTherm Heating and Cooling Shaker, For Molecular Biology Applications
The Benchmark Scientific H5000-HC MultiTherm heating and cooling vortex mixer has precision temperature control, can be used with interchangeable blocks (sold separately), and has digital programming and an end-of-cycle alert. It has precision temperature control from -20 to 100 degrees C, and can be used with blocks with 0.2 to 50 mL tubes, microplates, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) plates, and custom blocks. The vortexer can be digitally programmed for temperature, motion, and time, and programs can be sequenced. It can also be set to pulse vortex. An end-of-run cycle alert notifies the user of cycle completion. Precision-contoured wells help reduce excess movement, for uniform thermal transfer. A hex key (included) is used to install blocks. This vortex mixer can be used in laboratories for DNA research and procedures that require heating and cooling, and vortexing of samples in various tubes.
