The Blade opening on the 5 Hook is 0.50 inches (12.67m), and has excellent edge retention. Coated in a durable black oxide finish the 5 Hook is made from 440C Stainless Steel. When tested, the initial cut force required by Benchmade Rescue Hooks was less than a quarter of the competition.
