Ben Sherman, "the god of mod" made his mark in clothing design in the 1960's. The brand became famous for being sported by well-known musicians and singers. It was the first company to produce the famous oxford-style button-down shirt, which became a fashion staple for "mods." ben Sherman designs sometimes feature the roundel circular emblem on military aircraft and colors of the British royal air force.
