BeagleBone Black Starter Kit
The BeagleBone Black is a small computer about the size of an AltoidTM tin. The BeagleBone Black has a 1GHz ARM-based CPU, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage, expandable with a MicroSD slot. It's a powerful system that can run a Linux OS, web browser, and other desktop applications. Developers have found it's a powerful tool for sophisticated projects.
With its 48 GPIO pins, the BeagleBone Black can handle many simultaneous tasks. These pins allow the BeagleBone Black to communicate with a wide range of sensors, servos, outputs, and other hardware, letting it act as the brain of a large, complex project. The BeagleBone Black can be programmed from a Windows PC via USB or can be interacted with directly via a USB keyboard and mouse.
