BatteryMole Patented Monitor & Tester (12V Receptacle)
Don't get stranded. Your car should be smart enough to tell you when it's time to replace the battery. Last year over 60 million automobile batteries were replaced in North America. Your battery could be among this year's 60 million but your car doesn't know it. The BatteryMole's patented and patent pending technology analyzes your vehicle's battery and starting system like no other product. Simply plug this unit into your 12V receptacle, ignore any alarm messages for the first day and then drive worry free. When a problem is detected the BatteryMole will beep and flash a warning message on its LCD display. When that occurs, and it likely will, it is time to bring your vehicle in for service. The User Manual carefully describes those steps that should be taken for each message. And on a positive note, your battery might be just fine but your fuel filter is dirty. The BatteryMole is designed to work in all cars, both old and new. Engine start operations are monitored only when the engine has been off for a minimum of four hours. This new information can be seen by pressing the display button. The battery's state of charge is calculated once the battery has been at rest for four hours. (Please note that this calculation can be intermittent or inaccurate on a few car models. In particular, Mini Coopers as well as some Toyota and Volvo models. Please contact us if you think you have this issue. We can help). Also a single start time and, where possible, a single start voltage is not meaningful. The BatteryMole performs a comparative analysis of previous start operations at approximately the same temperature in order to ascertain the health of the battery. This type of analysis is indeed meaningful. Not even a $285,000 Bentley is capable of telling the driver that it is time to replace the battery,... perhaps someday this will change.
