Bates Clasp

Cloak or Cape Clasp - Bates Clasp. Antique Gold Finish Clasp. 2" long (with both pieces hooked together), and 0.8" tall at the widest point. Metal Clasp, sewn on through 2 small holes in the middle of the clasp (much like a button) and 1 securing hole that can also be used at each end of the clasp. This ornate clasp puts an elegant finishing touch to any jacket, sweater or costume piece. Strong enough for light and medium cloaks and a mid-heavy weight cloak. It might be a little too small for some of the heaviest double layer woolen or heavier cloaks. Great for Cloaks, Capes, Sweaters or finishing touch on any garment. Nice for Victorian, Edwardian, Renaissance, Regency, Colonial or Goth fashions. Clasp is attached to garments using a machine button stitch or hand sewn on with a button stitch.
