Barbie - Groovy 60's (sixties) Collector Doll - Great Fashions of the 20th Century Collection

1960s Barbie--from Mattel's Great Fashions of the 20th Century collection--recalls the upbeat, celebrated moments of the '60s in one groovy, albeit clashing, outfit. You can just see her in line for Beatles tickets--mascara in overdrive, short red hair with lots of bangs, near-florescent lipstick. The dress features a floral print top and miniskirt of turquoise vinyl. Her many large, white accessories include a wide belt, clutch bag, fishnet stockings, go-go boots, giant hoop earrings, shades, and a cool riding cap. Over it all is a hot pink, wooly mammoth of a coat, made of shaggy fur. The doll comes with display stand and certificate of authenticity. --Diane Beall
