Bambu products are created with imagination and integrity and are intended to be used and enjoyed everyday. Our designs celebrate form, color and texture using low impact materials and processes. The products are tested and approved for food safety and all packaging material is made from certified sources, 100-Percent recycled fiber or is recyclable. We strive to reduce the impact we place on the earth's resources and take a socially responsible approach to our products, processes and practices. Certified organic bamboo means our bamboo is grown without chemicals and pesticides. We believe it is not just about the end product but about the entre process. Not just about what you make, but about how you make it and under what conditions. And it's not just about your beliefs, but instead about your social and environmental actions. The serveware range is ‘carbonized' to a rich golden brown. This means that the bamboo is oven baked and involves no stains or dyes. We've designed a range of products to be used for almost any occasion. From small condiment cups for dips and sauces, to a range of hors d'oeuvres tray and salad bowls. The serveware collection is proudly made in china. The group we work with is organized as a cooperative. That means the craftspeople are involved in setting the pricing levels. Our producers only use water-based formaldehyde-free adhesives. No animal products are used in the ingredients or in the production process. All products are hand sanded and finished using a food-safe oil produced from vegetable oils and waxes.
