Bamboo Etched Guzheng

This Dunhuang brand Guzheng model has beautifully etched bamboo trees. Bamboo represents the spirit of summer, symbol of longevity & simplicity of life. It was constructed from African Padauk wood that was masterfully selected by the artisans from Dunhuang. Prized as a durable high-quality hardwood and used to make various instruments as well as high end interior wood flooring. It is often used to make drums in Africa. The bright orange-red color occurs naturally and offers beautiful warm tones to Guzheng's coloring. It is akin to Rosewood in sound tone.
