B-Quiet Hliner Thermo/Acoustic Foam with a Reinforced Aluminum Skin 13.75 Sq. Ft.

Hliner is 1/2" thick thermo/acoustic foam with a reinforced aluminum skin. It reduces engine noise in the interior of the vehicle and also reflects the majority of the heat from the engine. This protects the paint on the hood and keeps it looking new. Hliner should be cut to shape and then applied to the underside of the hood. It is self adhesive to make installation quick and easy. Each sheet measures 54" x 34" for a total of 12.75 sq. ft. and weighs 3lbs. OUR SUGGESTION FOR YOUR BEST RESULTS: We suggest B-Quiet Extreme or Ultimate throughout the vehicle to control structural borne noises, such as rattles, resonances, vibrations and also to slow the propogation of road/engine/exhaust noise into the cabin. For even better reduction of road/engine/exhaust noise, we would suggest a layer of Vcomp/LComp over top of the Extreme/Ultimate on the floor, lower interior firewall and rear cab wall to absorb and block airborne noises. We recommend 100 sq. ft. Extreme/Ultimate and optionally 30 to 40 sq. ft. of Vcomp/LComp for your vehicle. You also might consider a sheet of Hliner for under the hood to further reduce engine noise levels inside the cabin.
