BKTPREP - Basics of Keyboard Theory - Preparatory Level
Intended as a supplement to private or group lessons, Basics of Keyboard Theory, Preparatory Level, introduces the beginning music student to rudimentary theory concepts. It is intended for use by the student who has had about six months to one year of musix lessons. It is assumed that the student knows the following: 1. Letter names of the treble clef and bass clef line and space notes. 2. Rhythms in 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4, using note and rest values of eighth, quarter, half, dotted half, and whole. 3. The names of the keys on the piano.
