The Final broadcast is the earliest existing live recording of Bird and Miles together, as well as the only pairing of the saxophonist with pianist Joe Albany!! This collection of five rare broadcasts and private recordings by Bird includes various pairings with other celebrated jazzmen of the era. The Finale Club session comes from acetates made by Billy Berg, whose voice can be heard briefly at the end of "Anthropology".
