The Astavakra Samhita or The Astavakra Gita, as it is sometimes called, is a treatise on Advaita Vedanta that is ascribed to the sage Astavakra. The book consists of a dialogue between Astavakra and his disciple Janaka. The book is regarded as a classic text on monistic Vedanta.
