No one could write this story better than Anders Tengner, by far the most celebrated music journalist in Sweden. Growing up in the same neighborhood as Yngwie and hanging out in with the same gangs, following Yngwies career as a journalist and friend both in Sweden and in the USA. Anders was also a guest at the first two of Yngwie's weddings.
Anders Tengner is a Swedish equivalent to Neil Strauss or Mick Wall.
Starting as a writer at music magazine Okej in the 1980€s, he soon got the opportunity to work with his own TV shows. If you didn€t know Anders, there was no way you were gonna sell your music in Sweden. Literally every rock star stopped for an interview, a friendly chat and a photo shoot. Still today Anders keeps in contact with some of the icons, such as Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, Alice Cooper and Kiss, to name a few.
