The IPM688 seat rail or floor mount for cars or trucks is compatible with iPad mini and other midsize (7” or 8” screen size) tablets. It also holds iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 6S Plus and 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, 6, 5, and 5S. This mount includes Arkon’s Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Midsize Tablet or Smartphone Holder and a seat rail or floor mount with 18” flexible aluminum gooseneck. The iPad mini or iPhone can be easily inserted or removed from the mount with one hand. The top and bottom adjustable-leg design of the holder helps keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed. Included with the holder are 8 support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions) that can be customized to work with the spring-loaded holder to extend as large as 7.5” tall (using all four long legs) or as compact as 4” tall (using all four short legs) depending on the size of your device. For iPad mini and iPhone 7, 6S, 6, 5, and 5S, the best mount holder configuration is to attach 2 short support legs on top and the 2 long support legs on the bottom of the holder. For iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S Plus, and iPhone 6 Plus, use all long legs on the holder. The car seat rail or floor mount is made of strong aluminum, and is ideal for those who need easy access to their iPad mini or iPhone but prefer mounting them somewhere other than the windshield or dash. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Loosen the passenger seat track bolt, insert the included seat track bolt bracket, and then retighten the bolt. Bend the 18” gooseneck and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360° rotation for exact positioning of the iPad mini or iPhone.
