Archimedes Square Stomachion Puzzle
Archimedes' Square is the world's oldest documented brain teaser puzzle. Developed by famous Greek mathematician Archimedes circa 250 BC. This tangram-like set consists of 14 solid wood polygons, of varying sizes and shapes, that combine to form a square. There are now hundreds (536 at last count) known solutions for recombining the tiles into the original square. Can be used like a tangram for creating other shapes and as a discussion piece for math education. For ages 5+. Contains small pieces which may pose a potential choking hazard. Non-toxic inks.
